Our country, by order of President Putin, started a war with Ukraine. And there’s no one to stop the war. That’s why together with grief, we and I feel ashamed.
In his hands, the commander-in-chief, like a keychain from an expensive car, turns the “nuclear button”. Is the next step a nuclear volley? I can’t otherwise interpret Vladimir Putin’s words about weapons of retaliation.
But we will release this issue of Novaya Gazeta in two languages – Ukrainian and Russian. Because we do not recognize Ukraine as an enemy, and Ukrainian as the language as the language of the enemy. And we never admit it.
And the last thing. Only the anti-war movement of Russians can save lives on this planet.
