HRWF actively promotes human rights through organising seminars and conferences at the European Parliament and other venues. These are opportunities to inform decision makers, NGO leaders and other stakeholders of facts on the ground that are often neglected by mainstream media. These events are also occasions for experts, academics and practitioners to meet and discuss common concerns and expand the possibilities for joint actions.

For those who suffer the loss of basic freedoms or who live under undemocratic regimes, exposing the facts about their situation in a public forum can bring hope. It means that they are not forgotten and that change is possible.
